Dear Ruthann and David,
I was so sorry to hear of your MOTHER'S passing. I have so many great memories of Sarajane, first on East Main St., then on Hillcrest. Her optimism and friendliness were always evident and helped make our times together very enjoyable. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your loved ones at this difficult time.

Dear David and Ruthann,
Gary and I are so very sorry to hear about your mother's death. I have such wonderful memories of both your parents, and of course, they weave themselves through all those glimmers of childhood that stay with us -- parents and friends and small towns and school. How I fought to take typing with your mother and how glad I've been ever since! How high she set the bar in a classroom, but oh, with such kindness and support. Always with kindness. How much she loved learning and so never quit doing it. How nice she was to Gary and me as we grew up and became teachers ourselves . . . How lovely it always was to talk with her and hear about what she was reading and doing.
I am in England this summer and just now learned about your loss. Sending heartfelt thoughts, David and Ruthann. Beth and Gary

I hope the family will find some comfort and strength in Jesus promise of the earthly resurrection(Acts 24:15)and the renewed Paradise earth, where death will be no more and no family will mourn the death of a loved one.-Revelation 21:3,4;John 5:28,29;Luke 23:43. Dear Ruthann and David - Condolences on the loss of your mother. I have fond memories of Sarajane and Doc Briggs. They were all things Barnesville, at every event from the museum, community, Kiwanis Club and community events. And always with a positive thing to say! Barnesville is blessed from all their good works.

Tootie and David, your mom was like a second mother to me, and I loved her so much... and now she has been Grandma Sarajane to my Amy since she was a baby. She was a pip! -- always fun and funny and positive, but also a real lady! Amy wants me to say that she still has the pink blanket she crocheted for her -- for me, I have a lifetime of happy memories... xoxo
