Ruth was a very special lady. I admired her as a mother, nurse, and grandmother. She truly represented how God wants us to serve him on earth. I'm sure she will be rewarded in heaven.

Dearest Nanette, Jeff, Joyce and family ... I'm sooo sorry to hear you've lost your mother. Although we realize these things must come to pass, there is no way to truly prepare for them. Ruthie was an icon of our family for as long as I can remember and she and your father were two of my favorites. I always looked forward to seeing them both at our family reunions and I'll never forget her kind, generous, and sweet personality. My heart goes out to all of you and know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers ... cherish the memories for you can never lose the heart that she shared in loving all of you.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of your Mother. She was a wonderful lady with a big smile on her face always. I have fond memories of coming over to your house, Nanette. We were remembering her and Doc dancing at Annie K's when our band would play there. I know Doc will miss her so. Sending our love and may you find comfort in the passing days, knowing she touched many with her kindness and smile.

It is so easy to love and visit a sister as kind and giving as Ruth. She had her first airplane ride when she and Betty came to Florida and visited with us and our family. We had such a good time. She, Betty and my self enjoyed going to the Guernsey county fair 2 years ago. We always had funny when we were together. I will always have wonderful memories of her, Ronnie and their family.

Roger and I send our deepest sympathy and prayers . I was blessed to be associated with Ruthie through our church and work at the hospital. Ruthie earned her wings many times over as an angel to so very many while here on earth. I watched her so lovingly care for patients and their families in the 32 yrs I worked beside her at BH. There are many fond memories of working as Deacons together and fun times in the kitchen. The Presbyterian church will miss her noodles! My most special memory of Ruth was a very personal one and touched me deeply. My late husband John Fogle passed away suddenly in March 2008, a year after Ronnie's passing and a very similar scenario . Ruthie was one of the first to knock on my door after hearing of my husbands death. At that moment we were both "in the same place". She knew exactly what to say and what not to. Her presence was such a comfort. Prayers for you all as you move forward . The blessings she has given you all as wife, mother, grandmother, and sister are so precious and will be what sustains you. I love you Ruthie 💐 GODSPEED
