May you find comfort in the shared memories and in all of the stories that you will hear from family and friends. Carla, remember that your Daddy will always be in your heart; you'll see him in the sunsets, you'll know that he is there when the soft rain falls and when you feel the dappled sunshine under the trees on a perfect summer afternoon. Most of all, you will know exactly where he resides when you hear Ty and Dakota laughing, laughing and laughing. A friend told me when my mother passed that she had gone to that place where babies find their first laugh: the thought still makes me smile and somehow, in a strange way, it was a comforting thought. And now I share that thought with you.
