Growing up, Lucille and Emory (Clyde) were my grandparent’s neighbors to the north. Later, they were fellow NCHA campers with my parents in the Monroe Miserable Misfits and Clyde was a fellow Somerton water committee member and in more recent years Lucille and I corresponded via email. I have many fond memories of the two of them and their ever present toy poodle named Joy from those days gone by.

Lucille was a sweet lady. Growing up on Sycamore Street we used to visit with her and talk on her front porch. Good, good memories.

I knew Lucille from when I worked at Holly Memorial, and she and I emailed once in a while after I left. I lost touch after a while and didn't know she was in Woodsfield. It was always nice to talk with her. You have my sympathy for your loss.
