Dear Sue, Susan, Al and family - Our family's condolences on the loss of your wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Ken was the "keeper of the flame" for the Ackerman family. His research of our shared common heritage is an invaluable gift to our family and future generations. His last visit to the family reunion the year he turned 90 was memorable. This weekend his sister Wilda also shared with me what a special brother he was to her, Myron and Keith.

He loved his family, his Somerton upbringing, and he especially loved and was proud of all of you! May God bless you with the many special memories of his life with you. He was a very special person who positively touched many lives.

Peace,

Your cousin,
Bruce Yarnalll

Memory of Ken Ackerman
My mother moved to Evergreen last year and was in the room next to Ken. In my first conversation with him I discovered that I had had his granddaughter ,Sarah, as a student. That was the beginning of our friendship.
He cared deeply about other people. He enjoyed visits he had from his family. Pictures of his grandchildren and great grandchildren were displayed with pride on his bulletin board.
He loved his wife and was with her every day. He didn't complain about his physical challenges
I will miss seeing him with Sue.

Sue and Family,

We were deeply saddened to learn of Ken passing.
Special thanks to Susan's call.
Ken was a special person in my life---beginning in High School at Madison HS during his tenure as the Agr. teacher and FFA Chapter adviser---with a friendship continued through his life time.

I trust the special memories with Ken will be of great value to all, during this time of grief.
With Condolences---Charles and Carol Parker

Growing up I remember Ken as one of the many supportive parents in our neighborhood that made it a special place. I also remember his antique buisness and the many treasures you could find in his basement. I will say a prayer for him and his family.

Sorry for your loss. The loss of a dear loved one, is always a painful and difficult experience. A time when comfort is needed. It is through the privilege of prayer, that we experience God's love and comfort in the most intimate way. May you find comfort through prayer, to "the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials." (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4.).

Uncle Ken was a smart, kind and gentle man. He always took time with people, made them feel at ease. We all will miss his genealogical updates, his voice, so reminiscent of his father's.
To my mom, his sister, he was a friend and hero. We all send our love and prayers
