Keith Zellers

Keith Zellers, 93, of Barnesville died Friday, May 13, 2016 at his home. Keith was born in Barnesville on December 13, 1922 to the late Leon and Jesse (Getsinger) Zellers.

Keith is a veteran of the US Navy and served during WWII and retired from Belmont Electric.  Keith is a member of the First Christian Church in Barnesville, BPOE 1699, American Legion Post 168, Life Member of VFW Post 2792, Belmont/Jefferson Beagle Club, Barnesville 200 Club and was Past President of Barnesville Rotary.  He enjoyed watching Ohio State Football and the Cleveland Indians, playing cards, running dogs and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Doy A. Zellers; brother, William Zellers; and three sisters: Gladys Helm, Marguerite Shepherd and Clara Hackett.

Keith is survived by his loving wife, Ruth A. Zellers; son, Kris (Paula) Zellers of DePauw, IN; grandchildren: Brendan (Madison) Zellers of New Albany, IN and Darcy (P.J.) Kamer of DePauw, IN; and great-grandchildren: Regan and Ryder Kamer.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 16, 2016 from 6-8pm at Campbell-Plumly-MIlburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.  The service will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 1:00pm with Pastor Ed Eberhart officiating.  Burial will follow in Southern Cemetery. VFW Belmont County Honor Guard will conduct military services at the funeral home at 12:45pm.
