The sad news of Joanne's death came to me from a phone message left by our mutual classmate, Jane Hope Bigler of Toronto, OH, who graduated with Joanne from nursing school. She was also our Steubenville High School classmate of the great class of 1952 (not 1953). Although I moved to the Columbus, OH, area in 1961 I have some very happy memories of Joanne and had seen her at a 1952 class reunion. She posted many photos on Facebook of her loving family and I send my sincere condolences to all of you, knowing that your own happy memories and God's blessings will lift your spirits in the difficult days ahead.
