Harold Eugene Wheeler

Harold Eugene Wheeler, 85, of Quaker City, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Emerald Pointe Health & Rehab in Barnesville. He was born on March 17, 1931 in Belmont County, Ohio to the late Cecil J. and Lela M. Wheeler.

Harold was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. Harold retired as a crane operator from Ormet, but continued working as a cattleman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers: Donald, Richard, Eugene and Ted Wheeler; and sister, Donna Jean Percy.

Harold is survived by his two children: Thomas (Anita) Wheeler of Quaker City and Carol Norris of New Concord; 12 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren: three brothers: John Lewis (Marlene) Wheeler of Alliance, Austin Robert Wheeler of Jerusalem and William Neal Wheeler of Alliance; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 4-8pm and Saturday, March 4, 2017 from noon until the time of the service at 2pm with Pastor Ed Eberhart officiating at Campbell-Plumly-MIlburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.  Military honors will be conducted at 1:45 with Belmont County Veteran's Association at the funeral home.
