To Irene's family,
We pray God gives you peace and comfort in the coming days.She was so proud of all of you.
We are truly saddened by her passing. I have no doubt that she entered the gates of Heaven for she was one of God's faithful servants.
I have known Irene since I was eight years old. At one time she was my daughter's baby sitter, and she worked in my mother's store. When I returned from Phoenix for a visit, I spent many evenings sitting on the porch or watching TV with Irene as we were neighbors. We also talked on the phone frequently as I sort of adopted her as my mother after my mother passed away.
I am so grateful I got to see her on 9/13/15, and we took a really nice picture of her with the purple mums.
I will miss her tremendously, and it was such a pleasure knowing her all these years.

My sympathy to my cousins Larry, Sharon, Richard ,Nancy and their family's. Mom & I will miss her! I have such respect and admiration for all she did in life , love for God and her family , for all she sacrificed. She did not have much by the world's definition BUT much by God's.Goodbye for now Aunt Irene we shall see you again on the other side of glory. I love and miss you !!!! We are leaving for vacation with my sister and brother-in-law tomorrow and will not be able to attend your mothers funeral but I want you to know the respect and feeling I have for her. I told Frankie when I heard of her passing the world has lost a great person. When I first moved to Barnesville and started attending church she was one of the people that made me feel so welcome. I later became Sunday School Supt. and she helped me organize Sunday School. She was a tremendous influence in my life as well a pillar of our community and church. I personally will miss her as well as all of you. God bless all of you.

Please accept my sympathies on the passing of Irene. What a wonderful Christian lady. She was one of the first ladies that I sat with at FCC when I started attending there. What a sweet soul. She will be missed. God bless.
