Those who protect and serve our community have a special place in our hearts. Every day, they leave their homes and families to protect our communities without hesitation. When a line of duty death occurs, funerals for public safety officers should reflect honor and respect for their service. This includes law enforcement officers, firefighters, and emergency medical service workers. We promise to protect your family while you are protecting ours.
What Does It Include
At NO cost to the family of a fallen first responder, we will provide our services within Belmont County for traditional burial or cremation, a casket, memorial book, memorial folders, thank-you cards, and memorial video. Wilbert Funeral Services, Inc. will donate a customized Wilbert Stainless Steel Triune® burial vault when traditional burial is chosen.
What Isn't Included
We will only charge the family for cash advance items such as cemetery spaces, opening and closing at a cemetery, minister honorarium, death certificates, flower sprays, etc.
Who Is Included
Any first responder that lives or works within Belmont County that dies while on an emergency or because of a critical incident. This is a direct line- of-duty death to protect them while they are performing their sworn duties. We will either provide services at our funeral home in Barnesville or a location of the families choosing in Belmont County (church, community center, school, etc.)
Do I Have to be Included
No, there is no requirement to use Campbell- Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home; however, we want you to know that this option is available to you and your family. If you would like to be included all you need to do is let your superior and family know so if it is ever needed, the ones left to plan your funeral will know what to do.
Our support in your time of need does not end after the funeral services. Enter your email below to receive a grief support message from us each day for a year. You can unsubscribe at any time.
