William Robert Pfeffer

William Robert Pfeffer, 92, of Quaker City, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Summitt Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell. William was born on February 15, 1928 in Beaver Township to the late Gervase and Gwendolyn (Pekari) Pfeffer.

William was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the St. Mary's Church in Temperanceville. He was a Ruritan and involved in the Pennyroyal Opera House. William was a retired coal miner from Quinn Development and loved to farm.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Pfeffer.

William is survived by his wife, Marie (Clucus) Pfeffer; two sons: Kenny (Barb) Pfeffer and Danny (Mary) Pfeffer both of Quaker City; three grandchildren: Douglas (Rachel) Pfeffer, Ryan (Jaime) Pfeffer and Chad (Amy) Pfeffer; eight great-grandchildren: Hannah, Leslie, William Charles "Chaz", Phoebe, Abby, Alex, Lily and Rosemary; step-great-grandchildren, Tyler Arick; siblings: Joyce Pachuta and Dennis (Lorena) Pfeffer; and several nieces and nephews.

In accordance with COVID-19 guidelines, social distancing and masks will be required for a graveside service on Monday, November 9, 2020 at 11am at Batesville Cemetery with Father Dave Cornett officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio 43713.
