William "Bill" E. Farson, 87, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at his home. He was born on August 21, 1933, in Dresden, Ohio to the late Harold and Evelyn (Pryor) Farson.
Bill was a member of the Friendship Lodge #89 F&AM and Past Master for Somerton Lodge #354 F&AM. He was also a member of the Bricklayer's Union #9 in Bellaire, Ohio. He was a very talented bricklayer, dedicated farmer, and jack of all trades. He was a member of Cattleman's Association.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ronald Farson and James Robert "Bob" Farson; and his beloved dog, Annie.
Bill is survived by his wife, Judy (Hickman) Farson; daughter, Cathy Jo Farson of Somerton; two sons, Jim Farson of South Carolina and Jay (Shirley) Farson of Barnesville; two step-children, Brad Riser and Sheila (Mike) Collette; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Lucille Riemenschneider and Marianne Armstrong; several nieces & nephews; and his beloved cat, Fancy.
In honoring Bill's wishes, cremation will take place with no additional services to be held. Bill's care is entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
