Terry Hager

On August 4th 2023, Terry Hager, 86, passed away at Advent Hospital in Zephyrhills, Florida with his wife Carolyn and family at his side.Terry was take from this world by the loving hands of God. Terry was born in Barnesville Ohio on December 17, 1936 to his parents Virginia and Tilfred Hager.

He met his wife to be Carolyn Thomas while attending Barnesville High School and graduated in May 1954. Shortly after graduation, Terry enlisted in theUnited States Air Force for 4 years and was honorably discharged in 1958. During his time in the United States Air Force he married Carolyn in July 1956 and went on to have 3 children. Terry and Carolyn were married for 67 wonderful years as proof that true love still does exist.

In 1962 Terry and Carolyn moved their family from Ohio to Arizona where Terry worked in masonry construction until 1992. They then moved to Barnesville, Ohio and he continued masonry work.Terry retired in March of 2019 and moved to Zephyrhills, Florida.

Terry was preceded in death by his brother Dale and his wife Gladys, and parents Virginia and Tilfred Hager. Terry was a man who loved building homes and was careful to make sure they were built on a strong foundation to last a life time.This is also the way Terry lived his life and raised his children,Rebecca (Austin) Escobar, Tom (Joanne) Hager, and Tim (Mary) Hager. Also his beloved grandchildren Lauren Hager, Gabriel Escobar, and Alexander Escobar.The many foundations Terrry tirelessly built thoughout his lifetime will guide his family through lifes many changes and keep them strong forever.
