Terry Lee Carpenter

Terry Lee Carpenter, 74, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Barnesville Hospital. He was born on July 16, 1947 in Barnesville to the late Lester and Mary Blanch (Schafer) Carpenter.

Terry was a graduate of Barnesville High School. He is a retired foreman and supervisor for Ford Motors. He was also a member of the Barnesville Moose. Terry loved sports, especially football, with the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Pittsburgh Steelers being his favorite teams.

In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his aunt, Mildred McEndree.

Terry is survived by his wife, Shirley (Baker) Carpenter; sons, Jeff Carpenter and Tim Carpenter both of Lorain, Ohio; granddaughter, Sarah Carpenter; stepchildren, Keith (Sherri Carpenter) McMillan and Denisee Leasure; step-grandchildren, Fallyn Carpenter and Zachary Leasure; step great-grandchildren, Annzley, Asher, and Axton Leasure; sister, Donna Price; sisters-in-law, Sarah Cline of Batesville, Linda Baker of Barnesville, Jenny Armstrong of Barnesville, Blanche Tipton of Florida and Freda Gingery of Barnesville; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 12:00 until the time of the service at 1:00 with Pastor Joe Thornton officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home 319 N. Chestnut Street, Barnesville. Burial will follow at Sewellsville Cemetery.
