Obituary
Sharon L. Kurtz, 83, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Monday, August 28. 2023 at WVU Medicine - Wheeling Hospital. She was born on November 2, 1939 in Canton, Ohio to the late Cecil and Hazel (Decker) Phillips.
Sharon was a 1957 graduate of Beallsville High School. She loved making crafts and decorations. She enjoyed golfing with her husband.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. "ChiChi" Kurtz on August 11, 2012.
Sharon is survived by her sons, Patrick Kurtz of Barnesville and Michael Kurtz of Barnesville; daughters, Beth Ann (Daren) Wallace of Woodsfield and Jill Talbot of Pickerington; five grandchildren, Ryan (Keri) Wallace, Sarah (Byron) Daggett, Kelly (Sam) Legha, Kyle Eakin, and Tanner Kurtz; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Phillips of Jerusalem.
In honoring Sharon's wishes, there will be no services held at this time. Sharon's care is entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
