Sandra Elaine Johnson

Sandra E. Johnson, 85, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, September, 13, 2023 at the Walton Home. She was born on November 18, 1937 in Barnesville to the late Hubert Johnson and Marguerite (Patterson) Kloss.

Sandy was a graduate of Barnesville High School and a member of the Barnesville United Methodist Church. She was a nurse, a teacher, and a high school guidance counselor. Sandy loved crafting and painting she was very artistic. She enjoyed throwing tea parties, going to lunch and shopping with friends, and antiquing. She fiercely loved her family. 

In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by many loving family members; brother, Lewton Johnson; and her dear friend Ruthanne McGee.

Sandy is survived by her children, Luke (Susan) Johnson, Walter L. Johnson, and Marguerite (Michael) Peters; grandchildren, Marie (Julian Wurpel) Peters, Connor Johnson, and Lydia Johnson; sister, Lana Johnson; and dear friends Marlene Shuman, Laverne Winter, and Charlotte Sicker.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023 from 11:00 until the time of the service at 1:00pm with Kris Bright officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Bethesda, Ohio.
