Robin "Rob" Sewell, 67, of Quaker City passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Wheeling Hospital after a hard fought battle with cancer. He was born on September 22, 1956 in Bronx, NY to the late Charles and Velma (Brooks) Sewell.
Rob was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was a retired truck driver. Rob enjoyed playing games, loved The Ohio State Buckeyes, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Yankees. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, his family was everything to him. Rob loved living in the country and watching the wildlife.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys and Charlene.
Rob is survived by his wife of 31 years, Dawn Smith-Huggins Sewell; six children: Rebecca Cain, Angela Pulley, Sara Sewell, Steven (Candace) Huggins, James (Cay) Huggins and Thomas (Julie) Huggins; a grandson that they helped raise, Kyle R. Huggins; grandchildren: Liberti, Jocelyn, Reagan, James, Ethan, Darin, Kaylie, Nathan, Kourtney, Olivia, Gabrielle, Thomas, Brianna, Felicia and Robert; several great-grandchildren; brothers: Kevin Quigley and Matthew Quigley; several nieces and nephews; beloved birds: Cisco and Chuck; and beloved dogs: Baby Girl, Champ, Fifi, Jax and Koda.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 from 6-8pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
