Robert L. Powell

Robert "Bob" L. Powell, 70, of Bethesda passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.  Bob was born on September 22, 1952 in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Walter and Nellie (Nace) Powell.

Bob was a 1970 graduate of Barnesville High School.  He was retired from Anchor Long Wall as a mechanic and welder.  He was an avid car enthusiast and loved drag racing.  Bob was the proud owner of his 1969 Chevy Camaro.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brothers, Johnny Nace and Clarence Powell.

Bob is survived by sons, Jeff Powell of Barnesville and Ryan (Dana) Powell of Coshocton; granddaughter, Rylee of Tampa, Florida; loving companion, Joyce Clouse of Bethesda; and several nephews.

Visitation will be held on  Friday, January 20, 2023 from 11am until the time of the service at 1pm with Rev. Tom Detling officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery in Barnesville, Ohio.
