Paul E. Eddy

Paul E. Eddy, 71, of Barnesville passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.  Paul was born on February 25, 1949 in Barnesville to the late Willard and Martha (Stephen) Eddy.

Paul was a 1967 graduate of Barnesville High School.  He was a heavy equipment operator who worked for R&F Coal and then retired from Oxford Mining.  Paul was a member of the Barnesville VFW Post 2792 and the BPOE 1699.  Paul loved to take vacations, playing cards, golf, fishing and playing baseball and softball. He was an avid Cleveland Indians and Dallas Cowboys fan.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death his brother, Dennis L. "Doc" Eddy; in-laws, Charles and Marjorie Drake; and sister-in-law, Shirley Gray.

Paul is survived by his wife of 48 years, Karen (Drake) Eddy; his much loved beagle, Copper; sister-in-law, Shelley Eddy; brothers-in-law, Dan Drake of Deltona, FL and Roy Gray of Canton; and nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.  Burial will follow in Crestview Cemetery.
