Patricia Ann (Slevin) Temple

Patricia Ann (Slevin) Temple, 83, of Bethesda, Ohio passed away peacefully on Monday, February 21, 2022 surrounded by her loving family at Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale, WV. Patricia was born on May 6, 1938 in Beaver Township, Noble County, Ohio to the late G. Carl and Ava "Eva" (DeLong) Slevin.

Patricia was a member of the Church of the Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary and she graduated from Batesville High School in 1956, where she had many friends. After high school, she worked at the sewing factory in Barnesville until 1963. Her life's work was lovingly caring for her husband, three children, other family, friends and neighbors. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be remembered for her sweet kind nature, her hardworking attitude, her immaculate house, and her home cooked meals and treats, especially her chicken and noodles and many varieties of fudge.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Ronald A. Temple on July 10, 2021; four brothers: F. Kenneth Slevin, E. "Gene" Slevin, Ernest "Neal" Slevin and Joseph M. (Slevin) Slavin; and a sister, Audrey Kosla.

Patricia is survived by her sons: Steven (Letitia) Temple of Barnesville, Ohio and Gregory Temple of Lewisville, Ohio; daughter, Rhonda (John) Lahey of Hilliard, Ohio; grandchildren: Shawnee (Ben) Neuhardt of Barnesville, Shane Patrick Temple of Barnesville, Samantha Lahey and fiance Alex Darwin of Fairborn, Ohio, and Joshua Lahey of Dublin, Ohio; great-grandchildren: Hudson Charles Neuhardt and Odessa Shane Neuhardt; sister, Rosemary (Slevin) Stephen of Barnesville; sister-in-law, Bonnie (Renner) Temple of Bellville, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from 5-7pm with a Vigil Service being held at 6:45pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 10am at Assumption Church in Barnesville with Father Dave Cornett officiating. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery in Barnesville. Care has been entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made in Patricia's name to the Assumption BVM Catholic Church.
