Norman E. Douglass, 90, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 at his home. He was born on June 14, 1931 in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Henry and Anna (Warner) Douglass.
Norman was a graduate of Barnesville High School. He was a military policeman for the Army in Germany during the Korean War. He is retired both Consolidated Coal and from Belmont County road crew. He was a member of the East Main Church of Christ. Norman spent his time on the farm since retirement.
In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Patricia A. Douglass.
Norman is survived by his four sons, Craig (Becky) Douglass of Barnesville, Dale (Valerie) Douglass of Barnesville, Mark (Brenda) Douglass of Barnesville, and Dean (Jill) Douglass of Fleming, Ohio; two grandchildren, Kyle and Kelsey Douglass; step-grandchildren, Chaz Kosar, Nick Vargo, Jesse Hilverding, Joni Turner, Joshua Hilverding, Justin Hilverding, Christy Parish, and Nichoale Shaulis; several great-grandchildren; and his faithful companion Jack.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 3, 2021 from 6-8pm and 11:00 am-12:00pm on Saturday at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home 319 N. Chestnut Street Barnesville, Ohio where services will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 12:00pm with Ev. Val Roxby officiating. Burial will follow at Friends Cemetery in Quaker City, Ohio.
