Myron R Johnson

Myron Roy Johnson, 91, of Barnesville Ohio passed away on January 6, 2020, at The Arbors in Woodsfield, Ohio. He was born near Barnesville, Ohio on May 28,1928, a son of the late Roy Lamont Johnson and Emma Laura Gibbons Johnson.

Myron served in the US Army, he was stationed in Germany. He was retired from Schneider National. He was a member of Stillwater Meeting in Barnesville, Ohio. He served as Chaplain of the DAV Chapter 121, and a member of Farm Bureau.

He is preceded in death by his wife Theodora M. (Teddy) Aldrich Johnson on March 12, 2019, a brother Alan Johnson and sister Edith Johnson Hinshaw.

Myron enjoyed spending time working the family farm, tending to his beehives and brewing his own beer.

Surviving are two sons, Lamont Johnson of Friendship, WI; Lars (Jill) Johnson of Katy, TX 7 grand children, 4 great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held After The Manner of Friends on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at 10am at Stillwater Meeting House 61830 Sandy Ridge Road Barnesville, Ohio. Burial to follow at Olney Friends cemetery, Barnesville, Ohio.
