C. Marjorie Stephen, 93, of Barnesville passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Summitt Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell. Marjorie was born in Bailey's Mills, Ohio on November 30, 1926 to the late Ellsworth and Maude (Powell) Creighton.
Marjorie was a member of Bethel Methodist Church. She is retired from Barnesville Hospital where she worked in the kitchen for 34 years. She loved flowers and had them everywhere, she loved going to Amish Country, and cooking and baking.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rolland Stephen; son, Jerry Stephen; grandson, Scott Stephen; great-grandson, Eric Parker; three sisters: Mary Gallagher, Ethel Stephens and Zella Warner; and brother, James Creighton; 2 son in laws: Kenny Morris and Dick Hughes.
Marjorie is survived by her children: Linda Morris, Dennis (Grace) Stephen, Melba Hughes and Bruce (Tammy) Stephen; 17 grandchild; and 23 great-grandchildren.
According to the COVID-19 guidelines, masks and social distancing will be required for visitation on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at 3-7pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio. The service will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 11:00am with Pastor Jeff Eschbaugh officiating. Burial will follow in Batesville Cemetery.
