Marilyn Louise McLaughlin

Marilyn Louise McLaughlin, 78, of Barnesville passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge. She was born on December 31, 1942 in Temperanceville to the late Fred and Ursula C. (Ulrich) McLaughlin.

Marilyn was a lifetime member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Temperanceville and was a 1960 graduate of Barnesville High School. She worked from 1961-1966 at East End Garage in Barnesville and then retired after 36 years from First National Bank (WesBanco) in Barnesville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Monica Markovich; and brother, James McLaughlin.

Marilyn is survived by her four sisters: Bernadine McLaughlin, Margaret McLaughlin, Rita (Edmund) Byers and Nancy McLaughlin; three brothers: John (Joan) McLaughlin, Fred (Karen) McLaughlin and Ronald (Laney) McLaughlin; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 4pm until the time of the Vigil Service at 6:45pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 11am with Fr. Dave Cornett officiating at St. Mary Church, State Route 379, Temperanceville, Ohio. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Temperanceville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marilyn's name, to the St. Mary's 200th Anniversary Commentative Grotto, P.O. Box 322, Barnesville, Ohio.
