L. Pauline (Mayberry) Steed

L. Pauline Steed, 97, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Emerald Pointe. She was born on November 29, 1923 in Somerton, Ohio to the late Herman and Maggie (Jefferis) Mayberry.

Pauline was a graduate of Somerton High School and a member of the Somerton Church of Christ. Pauline loved to quilt, crocheting, counted cross stitching and gardening both indoors and outside. Pauline loved having her family over and spending time with them.

In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years John Steed; great granddaughter, Miranda Lynn Steed; and sister, Laura Wherley.

Pauline is survived by her children, Dennis (Tammy) Steed and Debra (Tim) Sellers; grandchildren, Jason (Fran) Steed, Ashley (Zac) Clift, Andrew (Amanda) Sellers, and Brian (Emily) Sellers; great grandchildren, Carter and Peyton Steed, Bailey and Colt Clift, Madison, Fallyn, and Johnathon Sellers; sister, Violet Cook; and several nieces and nephews.

Honoring Pauline's wishes private services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial following at Somerton Southern Cemetery. Care is entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home 319 N. Chestnut Street Barnesville, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to East Main Church of Christ in Barnesville or Somerton Church of Christ.
