Judy Ann Wilt, 77, of Barnesville, Ohio formerly of Akron, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at WVU Medicine - Wheeling Hospital. She was born on August 24, 1946, in Sutton, West Virginia, to the late Gene Sherwood and Anna Lee (Hartman) Whytsell.
She was a 1964 graduate of Springfield High School in Akron. She was an executive secretary at B.F. Goodrich and later a school secretary at Turkeyfoot Elementary. Her life revolved around her grandchildren. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Barnesville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, David James Wilt, who passed away on December 12, 2019; and sister-in-law, Billie Whytsell.
Judy is survived by a daughter, Heather (Ed) Eberhart of Barnesville; son, Jeff (Amy) Wilt of Englewood; grandchildren, Lilly, Jossalynne, Anna, Dawson, Zander, Benjamin, and Reagan; great-granddaughter, Krystal; siblings, Jerry Whystell, Fred (Peggy) Whytsell, Larry (Betty) Whytsell, and Paula (Dewey) Harrington; several nieces & nephews; and many special friends at the Walton Home.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 2pm until 5pm and on Monday, October 16, 2023, from 10am until the time of the service at 11am with Pastor Ed Eberhart, Pastor Alex Davidson, and Pastor Don Eberhart officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Inurnment will take place privately at Richland Cemetery in East Richland, Ohio.
