James William Pryor, 78, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2020, at his home. He was born on August 29, 1941, in Barnesville, Ohio, to the late Kenneth and Lydia (Jeffers) Pryor.
Jim was a member of the Friendship Lodge F&AM #89 for 50 years, member of First United Methodist Church and retired from R&F Coal Company/Oxford Mining.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Don Pryor.
Jim is survived by his wife of 58 years, Donna Jean (Murphy) Pryor; three children, Todd (Jenny) Pryor, Lisa (Fred) Fowler, and Bill (Jeff Wells) Pryor; grandchildren, Jason (Victoria Ellison) Pryor, Megan (Josh) Bilyeu, Rachel (Jonathan Fritter) Pryor, Brock (Julia) Fowler, and Lindsay Fowler; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Easton Pryor, Karly and Libby Bilyeu, Stella Ciacci, and Marlowe Fritter; four siblings, Vivian Anderson, Helen Toohey, Ruth Hart, and Richard (Sandra) Pryor; and several nieces & nephews.
In honoring the families wishes, there will be no services held. Care is entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jim's memory to Hospice of Guernsey, 9711 East Pike Road, Cambridge, Ohio 43725.
