Freda Gail (Mayberry) Duvall

Freda G. Duvall, 100, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Astoria Place of Barnesville. She was born on September 22, 1923 in Belmont County to the late Harry and Mary (Chappell) Mayberry.

Freda was a member of the Somerton Church of Christ. She worked as a seamstress for 44 years. Freda enjoyed farming and baking. She loved flowers, gardening, and being outside.

In addition to her parents, Freda was preceded in death by her husband, George Ernest "Pete" Duvall; brothers, Earl Mayberry, Frank Mayberry, Russell Mayberry, Bill Mayberry, and Harold Mayberry; sisters, Mabel Slevin, Edith Schafer, Hilda Weinzimmer, and Betty Clift.

Freda is survived by her son, William (Norma) Duvall; two grandchildren, Mark(Linda) Duvall and Marcy (Travis) Castello; great-grandchildren, Cage, Emma, Ryan, Erin (Zack), and Elly; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 11:00am until the time of the service at 12:00pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio with Rick Lallathin officiating. Burial will follow at Somerton Southern Cemetery.
