Eva Pearl Kennon, 88, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at her home. She was born on October 9, 1932, in Cailas, Ohio to the late Walter F. and Lulu (Wehr) Christman.
Eva Pearl was a 1950 graduate of Summerfield High School. She was retired from Belmont Manufacturing. Her joys in life were her family and preparing holiday meals. She loved outdoor activities and bus trips.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, of 44 years on August 18, 1997, Melvin L. Kennon whom she married on June 6, 1953; brothers: Clyde, Ralph, and Don Christman; sisters: Kathryn Miller, Florence Wells, Janice Powell, Doris Green, and Neva Christman; son-in-law: Bruce Butler; and infant grandson: Ronny Lee Carter.
Eva Pearl is survived by her two daughters: Debra Butler and Donna (Ron) Carter; grandchildren: Staci (Carl) Graham and Eric Butler (Lori); great-granddaughter: Kaylee Graham, Alyssa Carter; sister: Peggy (Charles) McLaughlin; sister-in-laws: Clara belle Christman; Carolyn Christman; many nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, masks and social distancing will be required for visitation on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 3:00 until the time of the service at 5:00pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home 319 N. Chestnut Street Barnesville, Ohio with Rodney West officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Guernsey.
