Elda Litman Obituary

Elda M. (Suter) Litman, 95, of New Hudson, Michigan formerly of New Martinsville, West Virginia passed away on Friday, March 6, 2020, at Angela's Hospice Care Center in Livonia, Michigan. She was born on July 2, 1924, in Hannibal, Ohio to the late Albert E. and Clara E. (Bruny) Suter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Allen J. Litman on October 21, 2015; a sister Ruth White; and brothers, Kenneth and Homer Suter.

Elda is survived by her sons, Delvin (Eleanor) Litman of Georgetown, South Carolina and Gerald (Candy) Litman of Novi, Michigan; grandchildren, Heather (Rick) Bauer, David (Deborah) Litman, Matthew (Sarah) Litman and Michael (M.R.) Litman; and great-grandchildren, Meredith Bauer, Jacob Litman, Eli Litman, Audrey Litman, Andrew Litman, Joanna Litman, Palmer Litman and Wilson Litman.

In honoring Elda’s wishes, cremation will take place with a private inurnment at Zion Evangelical Cemetery in Hannibal, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to New Martinsville Public Library, 106 Washington Street, New Martinsville, WV 26155 in her honor. Elda’s care has been entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
