Eileen Wells, 97, of Barnesville passed away peacefully on April 24, 2023, at Barnesville Hospital.
Eileen Oliver was born Jan. 2, 1926, in Somerfield, Ohio, the daughter of Clifford and Flora (Moore) Oliver. She worked as a seamstress and supervisor in the sewing industry for 50 years. Eileen was a member of the East Main Street Church of Christ, Barnesville.
She married Earl Wells on Sept. 27, 1947. Eileen was the proud mother of her son, Richard Wells, and daughters Tillie Wells, Sharon (Bill) Davis and Debbie (Jack) Crum.
Eileen is survived by her children, her grandchildren Bobbie Jo (Terry) Roth, Rich Wells (Amy Campbell), Gabe Wells, Leslie Davis (Ashley Rataiczak) and Matthew Davis (Beth Moore). She is also survived by her great grandchildren lan Wells, Mitchell Wells, L.T. Roth, Winston Davis, Joie Huffman, Harriet Davis and great great grandchildren Addyson Eileen Wells and Axl Wells. Also surviving are her step children Mark and Deloris Wells and Melba and Scott Fraley.
Eileen was preceded in death by her first husband, her second husband, Gene Wells, and granddaughter Tammy Snider.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2023, at the Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. The service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2023 with Preacher Corey Powell officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery in Barnesville.
