Donald Baker, 70, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born on November 22, 1949 to the late Dexter and Zelma (Butler) Baker in Piedmont, Ohio.
Donald was a car buff, he loved automobiles, fixing them, cleaning them, and knowing everything there was to know about different cars. He was very family oriented and loved being in charge of family gatherings.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his siblings: Phyllis Barrett, Dexter Baker, Jr., and Ruth Scott; and nephew, Daniel Wilson; nieces, Kay Leasure, Bonnie Barrett; nephew, Ross Barrett Jr.
Donald is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda Lou (Hashman) Baker; daughter, Robyn (Jim) Misner of Barnesville; son, Gordon (Angel) Baker; sisters: Gladys Smith, Geneve Armstrong, Freda Gingery, Blanche Tipton, Shirley Carpenter and Sarah Cline; and several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with COVID guidelines, masks and social distancing will be required for visitation on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 from 11am until the time of the service at 1pm with Pastor Bob Merritt officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Sewellsville Cemetery.
