Dennis Charles Greiner

Dennis Charles Greiner, 57, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at Butler Memorial Hospital. Dennis was born on July 21, 1965 in Charleston, South Carolina to the late Anthony Greiner and Patricia (Moore) Greiner.

Dennis was retired from Belmont County Correctional Institute where he was part of the Honor Guards. He was also in the Army Reserves. Dennis was the owner of D&J's Pizza in Barnesville, where he recently was awaiting permits to expand to a sit down restaurant that would also serve steaks. He was a peewee football coach for several years. Dennis was a beacon of kindness, compassion, and generosity dedicating his life to making a positive impact on his community.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his sister Vicki Shoulars.

Dennis is survived by his two sons, Brandon (Catherine) Greiner and Tre Greiner; grandchildren, Ace Charles, Ryker, Casey, and Mischa; brothers, John Moore and Tony Greiner; sisters, Diana Gontz and Margaret Hoder; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 4-8pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.  The service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 11am with Pastor Rodney West officiating.  Burial will follow with Military Honors conducted by the Belmont County Veteran's Association at Ebenezer Cemetery in Bethesda, Ohio.
