Bernard Eugene Clark

Bernard Clark, 86, of Barnesville, Ohio died on the farm he loved on Monday, August 7, 2023. He was born on May 19, 1937 in Neffs, Ohio to the late Eugene and Mabel (Mace) Clark.

Bernard was a farmer and a coal miner.

In addition to his parents, Bernard was preceded in death by his sisters, Mamie Lykins and Credella Shriver, and Blanche Armstrong; brothers, Robert Clark, Russell Clark, Charles Clark, Leroy Clark, and Elroy Clark.

Bernard is survived by his wife of 66 years, Alice Rosalie (Stottler) Clark; sons, Steve (Donna) Clark and Scott Clark both of Barnesville; daughter, Sharlein (Jeff) Cooper of Bedford, Texas; grandchildren, Brianne (Derek) Kornetti and Brian Clark; two step grandsons, Jeremy (Sue Ellen) and Alex (Katherine); five step great-grandchildren, Jayde, Jack, Jasmyn, Josie, and Jasper; sisters, Elizabeth Kelley, Mabel McClurg, and Esther Dailey; sister-in-law, Teddi Clark; and several nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 10am until the time of the service at 12pm with Ev. Kim McFarland and Rick Lallathin officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Stottler Family Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Somerton Church of Christ.
