William Dale Wells, 79, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Barnesville Health Care Center. He was born on March 17, 1936 in Guernsey County, Ohio to the late Samuel and Mary Frances (Hope) Wells.

He was a member of the Pisgah Church of Christ and a graduate of Old Washington High School.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 sisters - Betty Gardiner, Vera Truax, and Dorothy Johnson.

William is survived by his loving wife of 59 years - Ruth Ann (Booth) Wells; 6 children - Denise (Herbert) Starr, Dennis (Jodi) Wells, Timothy (Joan Anderson) Wells, Carrie (Rick) Selig, Lisa (Scott) Saunders, and Joseph (Becky) Wells; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters - Donna Orahoske of Cambridge and Faye Allar of Barnesville.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2015 from 5-8 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio where service will be held on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 11 AM with Jamie Helmick officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery in Barnesville, Ohio.
