William Lee Kurtz, 70, of Somerton, Ohio passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at his home. He was born on August 24, 1943 in Newark, Ohio to the late Theodore and Shirley (Morris) Kurtz.

Bill served in the United States Army from 1960 to 1964 in Germany and in the United States Marine Corps from 1964 to 1968 in Vietnam.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by Margie Costello of Bethesda and Donald Kurtz of Barnesville.

He is survived by his wife - Linda Kurtz; sisters - Minnie Saffel of Beallsville, Helen Nelmes of Sardis, Linda Wicks of Hamilton, Ohio, and Phyllis Dingus of Barnesville; brother - James Kurtz of Florida and John Kurtz of Somerton; children - Shirley Ann Kurtz and Roger Kurtz of Newark; 2 step-children - Tim Clift and Vickie Ramsay of Barnesville; and 9 grandchildren.

According to the wishes of Bill there will be no services held. Arrangements entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
