Edward William "Bill" Davies, 90, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016 at his daughters home. He was born on December 17, 1925 in Martins Ferry, Ohio to the late Edward Francis and Virginia (Wagner) Davies.

Bill was a veteran of World War II where he served in the Navy. He is a member of the Barnesville First Presbyterian Church where he was active in the choir, a 47 year member of the Barnesville Kiwanis Club where he had served as Past President, 200 Club, VFW Post 2792, and American Legion Post 168.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife on January 31, 2011, Leatrice A. Davies; sister, Patricia Fox; and brother, Richard Davies.

He is survived by a daughter, Lori (Skip) Kuthy of Bethesda; 3 sons: Wayne Davies of Adena, Ohio, Rick Davies of Bolivar, Ohio, and David Davies of Avon Park, Florida; stepson, Jeff (Becky) Maple of Martins Ferry;  grandchildren: Aaron (Tammy) Davies, Shawn (Laura) Davies, Melissa (Marco) Hernandez, Jason Davies, and Justin (Brandi) Little; step-grandchildren, Wendy (Mike) Smolira and Candi (Boomer) Reed; 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter; and sister, June Joehnck of Santa Barbara, California.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 3-7 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio where services will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 11 AM with Pastor Sam Monte officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery in Barnesville, Ohio.
