William A. Carpenter, 73, of Barnesville, Ohio died Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Barnesville Hospital. He was born August 6, 1938 in Noble County. Mr. Carpenter was a Heavy Equipment Operator for B&N Coal Company in Dexter City, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his mother - Emma Carpenter; brother - Lawrence Carpenter; and son-in-law - Paul Powell. Surviving are a son - Lee Carpenter of Barnesville, 2 daughters - Sherry Powell of Canton, Ohio and Chris (Rob) Paboucek of Barnesville; grandchildren - Jason Carpenter, Rachel Powell, Rob Paboucek, and Cayla Paboucek; and nieces & nephews. Visitation will be Monday, January 9, 2012 from 4-8 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio where services will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 11 AM with Rev. Charles Clark officiating. Burial follows at Batesville Cemetery in Batesville, Ohio.
