William Ross Betts, 55, of Akron, Ohio passed away Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Hospice Care Center in Akron. He was born on July 31, 1959 in Barnesville to Margaret (Cramlet) Hoffman and the late Harold Betts.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a brother - Harold Betts, Jr.

William is survived by his wife - Judy Betts of Akron; mother - Margaret (Richard) Hoffman of Louisianna; children - Heather (Roger) Wehr of Akron and Joshua (Julie) Wehr of Akron; grandchildren - Jordan, Joseph, Benjamin, and Katarina; siblings - Rick Cramlet of Barnesville, Robert Betts of LA, John Betts of Texas, James Hoffman of LA, Alice Orr of LA, Cheryl McEndree of LA, and Debbie Wilson of Texas; and step-sisters - Dusty Armitage of Texas, Dorothy Casey of MO, and Denise Fiesel of LA.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 11 AM at Batesville Cemetery in Batesville, Ohio. Arrangements entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
