Wanema Ruth Hagan, 85, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away, Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Astoria Place of Barnesville. She was born on January 24, 1931 in Aledonia, Ohio to the late Clarence Wilford and Golda Matilda (Morris) Taylor.
Wanema was a member of the Main Street Methodist Church, Mistletoe Twig, and Barnesville Ladies Luncheon Group.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Wilbur Eberle and second husband, John Hagan.
She is survived by her friends, Rosemary Jones, Margaret Hatcher, Tom and Nancy Murphy, and Joan Jenewein; cousins, Neal Jenewein and children, Dale and Lisa Jenewein, Hillis Jenewein, Junior Morris, Herman Morris, and Jane Morris; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 22, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio where service will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 11 AM with Pastor Richard Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery in Barnesville, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Wanema's memory to the Main Street United Methodist Church or Barnesville Hospital.
