Virginia A. Hunt, 94, of Quaker City, Ohio died Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Barnesville Health Care Center. She was born in Guernsey County, Ohio on January 20, 1921 to the late Raymond and Bessie (Mayberry) Warner.
Virginia was a member of the Barnesville East Main Street Church of Christ. She worked as a LPN. She started at Good Samaritan, then at the State Hospital in Cambridge, and also as a private nurse until she was 80 years old.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Howard Warner; and three sisters: Mary hall, Icil Baranheiser and Mildred McGuire.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Robert F. Hunt; three children: Neil Groves of Cambridge, Mary A. Jones of Barnesville and Jim (Evelyn) Groves of Quaker City; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Fred Warner; and a sister, Marie Starr.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 from 11am until the time of the service at 1:00pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio with Ev. Val Roxby officiating. Burial will follow in Friends Cemetery in Quaker City.
