Virginia Lucille "Jean" Baker, 87, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at The Enclave at Barnesville. She was born on July 24, 1938 in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Glen Russell and Lorena Cecilia (Burkhart) Mayberry.

Jean was a Catholic by faith. She was a member of the F.O.E. Jean loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa McBride on November 27, 2023; great-granddaughter, Aurora McBride; great-great grandson, Jaxon Leonard; sisters, Mary Eileen Doudna, Martha Lee McCloud, Louella Magdelina Burkhart, Margaret Cecilia Headley; brother, William Sebastian Mayberry.

Jean is survived by her children, Nona (Terry) Gray, Joe (Donna) Baker, Vicki Tomolonis, Larry (Trisha) Baker; 25 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren; sister, Rita Helen Baker; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026 from 11-1pm and 4-7pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 10:00am with Fr. Dave Cornett officiaing at Assumption of the B.V.M., 306 W. Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Barnesville.
