Violet Rose Giesey, 76, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020, at Acuity Specialty Hospital of Ohio Valley in Bellaire, Ohio. She was born on May 4, 1944, in Hendrysburg, Ohio to the late James and Regina (Rowland) Davis. Violet was a homemaker and a member of the East Main Church of Christ. Violet was a member of the Barnesville Eagles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Melvin Giesey on January 10, 2009; a sister, Darlene Cappell; and an infant sister. Violet is survived by her daughter, Judy Ann (Carl) Dallas of Barnesville; two granddaughters; grandson; two great-grandchildren; sister, Georgia; brother Roger Davis; brother-in-law Don (Wanda) Giesey. A memorial graveside service will be announced at a later date to be held at Fairview Cemetery in Fairview, Ohio. Care is entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Violet's memory to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, P.O. Box 322, Barnesville, Ohio to assist the family in funeral costs.
