William Troy Moore, 54, of Barnesville passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023.  Troy was born in Barnesville, Ohio on September 17, 1968 to Bernice Ann (Wehr) Moore and the late William D. Moore.

Troy was a 1987 graduate of Barnesville High School where he played football and wrestled.  He was also a 1991 graduate of Ohio University in Athens.  Troy worked at North American Coal #6.  He was an avid Miami Dophin fan, he loved sports and spending time outside.  Troy was a fair and gentle person.

Troy is survived by his mother, Bernice Moore of Barnesville; brother, Todd (Louise) Moore of Barnesville; niece, Sara Moore of Weirton, WV; nephew, Mason Moore of Medina, OH; and many cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 10am until the time of the service at 12:30pm with Pastor Rodney West officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.  Burial will follow in Crestview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Barnesville Hutton Memorial Library.
