Thomas Emerson "Doc" Hollida, 73, formerly of Barnesville, Ohio passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Friday, October 6, 2023. He was born on March 4, 1950 in Barnesville to the late Willard Park Hollida and Mary Isabelle (Brown) Hollida Dohonish. Tom was a 1968 graduate of Barnesville High School. He was an Army Veteran. Tom was an avid boater who loved the lake. He also enjoyed vacationing in Florida. He was preceded in death by his father, Willard Hollida and mother, Mary Isabelle (Brown) Hollida Dohonish; three brothers Russell, Terry Lee and Gerald. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Joanie (Secrest) Hollida of Senecaville; a daughter, Christen Hollida of Quaker City; and son, Matt (Stacey) Hollida of Barnesville; six grandchildren: Caleb, Jaydin, Madison, Morgan, Macy and Weston; 2 great grandsons, Copelyn and Briggs; and a soon to be great granddaughter, Emerson; and best friend, Larry Conway. Honoring Tom's wishes, no services will be held. Tom's care has been entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
