Theodore Cleveland "Ted" Hayes, 66, Sistersville, WV died Saturday, November 20, 2010 at his home. He was born November 13, 1944 in Friendly, WV son of the late Charles Robert and Catherine Virginia (Hays) Hayes. Ted served in the US Air Force, was a retired pipe fitter for Witco-OSI, member of Friendly United Methodist Church, BPOE 333 and American Legion. He was preceded in death by a sister Mary Jo Zipf. Surviving are his wife Sandy Hayes; son T.C. (Sarah) Hayes of Naples, FL; brothers Jack (Mary) Hayes of Paden City and Jerry (Darlene) Hayes of Friendly; sisters Alice Williams of New Martinsville, Grace McGee of Sistersville, Sally Davis of St Marys, Ada Hayes of Friendly, Katy Springer of New Martinsville and Kathy Bettam of Moundsville ; and grandchildren Hannah McKenzie and Emma Grace Hayes. Visitation Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 and service 3;30 PM Wednesday at Myers Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Sistersville, WV with Rev. Jim Mike Ward officiating. Burial follows in Friendly Hill Cemetery.
