Terry Allen Travis, 75, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born on July 3, 1946 in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late Lester and Madge (Thoburn) Travis. Terry was a 1964 graduate of Barnesville High School. He was a member of the Barnesville Assembly of God. He was drafted in the fall of 1964 and proudly served his country in Vietnam. Terry was very opinionated, you never had to guess where you stood with him. He was an avocate and proponent for Veteran's rights and a member of the Barnesville VFW. In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Travis. Terry is survived by his brother, Randy Travis; and four nephews: Steven Travis of Springfield, Ohio, Matthew Travis of Barberton, Ohio, Joshua Martin of Bethesda, Ohio and Gregory Travis of Barnesville, Ohio. Cremation will take place with a memorial service being held Sunday, March 20, 2022 at the Barnesville Assembly of God starting at 10:30 am. Terry's care has been entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home 319 N. Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
