Teresa Margaret Gillespie, 68, of Barnesville passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Barnesville Hospital.  She was born on September 20, 1946 in Barnesville to the late Lewis and Catherine (Hunkler) Carpenter.

Teresa was a 1964 graduate of Barnesville High School and a member of the Assumption Church.  She retired from Barnesville Health Care Center where she worked as an aide and in activities.  She was also a member of the Cypress Twig and the Barnesville Eagles.

Teresa is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Emerson Gillespie; son, Eddie (Jennifer) Gillespie of Lewisville, Ohio; two daughters: Annette Gillespie of Raleigh, NC and Yvette Gillespie of Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren: Zachary Gillespie, Ethan Gillespie, Cassie (Casey) Phillips and David Kehl; great granddaughter, Kenna Phillips; sister-in-law, Bernie (Kenneth) Miller; nephew, L.B. Pruitt; and her "adopted daughters": Christine Brooks and Michelle Stotts.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 23, 2015 from 6-8pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio and on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from noon until the time of service at 1:00pm with Father Dave Cornett officiating.  Burial will follow in Crestview Cemetery.
