Suellen L. (Repik) Mattison, 60, of Manassas Park, Virginia passed away Friday morning, August 24, 2012 at her home.  She was born on March 5, 1952 in Barnesville, Ohio daughter of Clyde P. Repik and the late Jessie L. (McFarland) Repik.

Suellen graduated from Franklin College. She was a personnel specialist for the Ohio Air National Guard where she later retired as Master Sergeant. She later worked for the Guard Bureau in St. Louis. In Washington, DC, she worked for the Department of Defense, Office of Personnel Management, and most recently the State Department as a Classifier. Her career included positions in the Pentagon and was able to travel the world as part of her duties. She enjoyed history, horticulture, and collecting antiques. She also enjoyed all aspects of arts and crafts. She was active in organizations that involved these interests.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by 3 uncles - Richard Repik, Emery Koerber, and Blaine McFarland.

She is survived by her father - Clyde P. Repik of Bethesda; brother - C. Daniel Repik of Plantation, Florida; aunts - Velma McFarland of Bethesda, Esther Koerber of Barnesville, Eileen Smith of Calvert, Kentucky, Jean Repik of Sumter, South Carolina, and Ilene McFarland of Grand Junction Colorado; uncle - Thomas (Sue) Repik of Wilmington, North Carolina; nieces - Gabrielle Repik of Gainesville, Florida and Sophia Repik of Columbus; cousins - Barry Koerber of Charleston, West Virginia and Cindy Goff of St. Clairsville.

Visitation will be Friday, August 31, 2012 from 11 AM until the time of the service at 1 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio with Rev. Tom Detling officiating. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Bethesda, Ohio.
