Shirley Ann Butler, 83, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Wheeling Hospital. She was born on November 9, 1937, in Bethesda, Ohio to the late Carleton Edward and Edna Marie (Carpenter) Dyer. Shirley was a member of the Jr. Women's Club, Fire Department Auxillary, two Cinch clubs, and Girl Scout Leader. She worked at the Belmont County Board of Elections for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard D. "Hank" Butler on October 4, 2014. Shirley is survived by her sister, Donna Jean Parker; children, Vicki (Ed) Magers, Brenda (Bill) Hudson, Beth (Mike Edwards) Grear, Julie (Paul) Felton, Jeff (Stephanie) Grear and Stacey (Mike) Frollini; seven grandchildren, Tara (Kenny) Hudson Bailey, Eric (Colleen) Touvelle, Michael (Betty) Felton, Daniel (Sascha) Magers, Kayla (Mark) Hoover, Clay Grear and Katelyn Edwards; and eight great-grandchildren, Owen Anderson Magers, Hayden Treadway, Paige Touvelle, Easton Hoover, Taylor Hoover, Caleb Bailey, Mackenzie Bailey, and Skylin Magers. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2021, from 1pm until 5pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio where services will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 11am with Rev. Tom Detling officiating. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Bethesda, Ohio.
